Description
Product inspection is a crucial component of quality control, ensuring that product quality is verified at various stages of the production process and before dispatch. This practice helps prevent quality issues and disruptions in the supply chain. TCQI  inspectors examine products based on specified criteria, adhering to international standards for the destination market. Utilizing inspection checklists that can be customized online, the quality control process is standardized, and key concerns are communicated to all stakeholders involved. TCQI conducts product inspections at different production stages, including Initial Production Check (IPC), During Production Inspection (DUPRO), Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI), Container Loading Check (CLC), and Production Monitoring (PM). Poduct inspectorrs at TCQI receive regular training in specialized fields such as Softlines (Garments, Footwear, Textiles). The inspections cover a comprehensive set of test criteria, including product function, performance, overall appearance, and dimensions. Internationally recognized statistical sampling procedures such as ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1) are employed, ensuring representative samples and adherence to Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) standards. The benefits of product inspections include ensuring product quality at every production stage, avoiding payment for defective goods, preventing recalls and reputational damage, anticipating delays in production and shipment, and optimizing the quality control budget. Specifically, the Initial Production Check (IPC) is conducted before 20% of production is completed, serving as an early-warning system to safeguard against import risks. The During Production Check (DUPRO) occurs when 20-80% of production is completed, ensuring adherence to specifications and production schedules. The Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is conducted when production is at least 80% complete, providing a final opportunity to take corrective action. Container Loading Check (CLC) verifies that the correct quantity and quality of products are loaded for shipment, reducing the risk of damage during transit. TCQI product inspectors' expertise, combined with customizable checklists, enables flexible and reliable quality control across various industries. Pre-Shipment Inspection is particularly emphasized as it offers peace of mind that orders are filled successfully, mitigates import risks, and protects brand image by ensuring compliance with agreed-upon specifications.
